Larry Giant Subs was like 65% of my diet living in Palatka,Florida when I went to college. I to this day dream about the Chicken Salad Sandwiches. Recently I went back to my Alma Mater Florida School of the Arts to teach a few courses and Larry had closed it’s doors for good. It was the first thing on my list to do when I got into town. SO you could imagine my delight when on my way to Wal-Mart here in Shreveport I pass a Larry’s. I shout at my friend Jeff to pull over right away.. walk into LARRYS and get me a Chicken Salad SUb with mustard on Wheat…was it worth it?….OH my Lord yes it was. STill OUTSTANDING.
